Shai was so relaxed and happy as she danced around the bridal suite, singing along to Taylor Swift and Beyonce with her “bridal kitties”. Excited cheers periodically emanated through the closed door of the bustling room. The day was finally here…
This was such a fun, sweet wedding! I’ve known Artie since he was a moppy-haired teenager and watched him grow into a responsible, mature young man. So to be a part of this day was all the more special. On a day that is so normally filled with love between the couple, what was just as evident was the love their parents have for them. Sweet moments between father and daughter where she buried her face into her papa bear and cried… a mother/son dance in which she looked as though she was giving away a piece of her heart. It was difficult to choke back tears and see clearly through my viewfinder! Artie and Shai were surrounded by their closest friends and family and made the day just as much about their guests as it was about them. There was a sense of gratitude for what each person there has contributed to their lives and to their union. It was all truly a privilege to witness!
